Two days in Bruges. Historic. Charming. Well Preserved. Great break & excuse to drink good beer & excellent chocolate.
Antwerp – 3 hours
We took a 3 hour stop – between train rides – in Antwerp. Lovely vibrant city! Amazing architecture. ….snd the waffles!!🤣 Greg wanted a waffle- I was like – meh…omg – hot – crunchy on outside – slightly sweet …ate more than my fair share!!!🤣
Rotterdam – surprising!
After 8 fun days in Amsterdam- it was time to move on and Rotterdam was suggested. We love this city. Vibrant city center, lively port, interesting g history. In WWII city was leveled & they did a fabulous job rebuilding – resilient.
