On to Netherlands 🇳🇱

After a very long 30+hours of travel we arrived in Amsterdam. …talk about travel weary! And it did not take long before we were embraced by the city. Canals, architecture, Cuyp Market, pickleball friend’s & play, Rondel Park & bike ride, Rijks, Concert house, windmills, tulips, blustery beach, Mr Stacks, Korean Fried Chicken 😄. DaPijp neighborhood.

Adieu Africa

We bid Africa goodbye with stories, adventures, and amazing new friends. We have so many stories & memories. The beauty of its people & country is spectacular. The warm hospitality of new friends contrasts with the raw animal wildlife we encountered. Watching a lion rip a Cape buffalo to shreds, warding off a honey badger(nothing sweet here) two alpha elephants fighting & a matriarch elephant trumpeting us – telling us in no uncertain terms – to get out of there! So glad Jeff could join us on our adventures. And thanks to Chloe & Brian & friends for showing us the very best of the Cape. Mandy – showing us hospitality as we transition to a new area of Africa& as she described it – real Africa. And we agree! Karen & her amazing family for opening her home to us snd perhaps more importantly showing us the ropes to life in Nelspruit & Kruger National park. …she kept us ftom ‘rookie’ danger! Seriously! And they are so fun!

Then on to Kenya & amazing new friends at Kenya Partners. Diane Hamrick has an amazing organization in Kenya Partners. The students & teachers are fabulous. Bright, talented, ambitious, fun! And huge thanks to Sam for amazing friendship. He & his family opening his home. And for showing us his beautiful country. Mary opened her home and we are forever thankful.
