Hakuba- it is snowing!

We leave Kanazawa at the crack of dawn to travel to the Japan Alps – Hakuba. It is snowing & powder skiing for Jack awaits.

It has been a tough snow year in Hakuba & tourists have left – most businesses are closed. Jack finds a ski shop that rents everything & he has a blast. Fresh snow – no crowds – sunshine. Lift tickets – $35!

Meanwhile as most businesses are closed – we are having a really tough time finding a place for lunch or to stay warm!
