We are on the boat and we are rocking and rolling- the seas are active. Thank goodness for red gear – we would be soaked!

Hobart is the capital of Tasmania and site of our next adventure!

Hobart was the departure point for the first Antarctic expeditions.

We are excited to explore this unique country and Bruny Island is our first adventure. We are catching a bus which takes us from Hobart to the Ferry & eventually the boat dock. Bruny Island is home to amazing oysters, merino sheep, and excellent whiskey! But we are headed to a boat ride in the Southern Ocean. ….there are white caps in the bay / yahoo! We don our red weather jackets, swallow our ginger/sea sickness tablets and are ready for adventure. Did I mention that we all donned every layer of clothing that we packed – yes! Adventure awaits…..next text..,,,

Koalas – saw our first koalas on this road.

And we saw the rock formations- called 12 apostles – tho some are missing – fell into surf – seriously!
