Beautiful day for a beautiful spot. Seals playing. Wind blowing. Trawlers fishing🙃. The drive in Cape Point park is spectacular at the bottom of the world- gorgeous

The cape area of South Africa has astonishing plant life not found anywhere else in the world. The gardens do an amazing job of nurturing this treasure

Ok – maybe not the most spectacular photo – and a good story. Upon arriving in CT – in fact one day later – after walking 9+miles on a historical walking tour & general traipsing and a day removed from 27 hours of travel – we were hungry & tired. Mario’s looked to be a good place to grab dinner. Upon being seated – the owner greeted us- saw you walking here & wondered where you were headed – nice! We were rewarded with tasty bruscetta – gratis to accompany our salad, wine, amazing fresh pasta. Then for dessert – given a slice of Italian birthday cake – made for a family celebration at the cafe. What a wonderful welcome to CT. And our meal there last night was just as good as the first!
