Sometimes one is just lucky! We stumbled upon the charming town of Port Alfred. The real prize is our luck as our Airbnb hostess Mandy is a force of nature. Funny, wise, knowledgeable, charming. We played Euchre, shared stories & dinner and were shown the fine points in the community. Aaah/ the joys of travel.

Garden Route —Robberg Hike

There are some amazing hikes along Garden Route. Robberg Peninsula has amazing rocky cliffs and huge sand dunes. Seal colonies. And glorious beaches. The sharks were hiding during our hike. South African wineries are amazing. Our wine pairing after the hike was a fun reward!
