We were so lucky to be in Melbourne during the Australian Open. We were there the first day / hot hot hot! Saw Rafa Nadal, Andy Murray & more – luv it!

We travelled from Hobert Tasmania back to Melnourne & stayed downtown. Such a vibrant city. We had the whole afternoon and one of our first stops was to see the street art. amazing!

In our short stay in Tasmania, we found a people who loved their land and considered themselves fortunate to live there. It is a country/island with a strong maritime heritage. Hardy souls. The link to Antarctic expeditions is interesting.

Hobart is a beautiful small city with lovely old buildings and parks. …time to give thanks …once again to convict labor? Indeed. Their building contributions are seen all around Australia.
