We have wanted to go on a bike trip for a few years. This year – while in Europe we decided to quit wishing & move to action 😄. We started to look for a bike trip that we could take while over here. So Camino – wait for another time. We wanted an easier trip and a trip where the weather would be warmer and the path would be forgiving. Then we decided that a boat/bike trip where we would ride with a group & eat dinner together – with a group numbered under 20 – all with a good price point would be ideal. We found one!
Girolibero.it had a trip going from Avignon to Aigues-Mortes. And we snagged the last 2 spots.
I am writing these notes after completing a fabulous adventure. We were busy and had very limited WiFi.
Riding through the countryside of France was fabulous. The privilege of seeing towns, castles, farms, up close – amazing.
Meeting interesting fellow travellers from Melbourne, Switzerland, AZ, Vancouver, San Francisco – wonderful!
E-bikes – yay!
