Squatter’s Hill Neighborhood

Kenya Partners has a few outreaches in Nakuru. The Roberts Boarding School, two schools, hospital/clinic, & Squatter’s Hill School. All are amazing and honestly, they save lives every single day. Squatter’s Hill school is located in the middle of Squatter’s Hill neighborhood. Life is tough here. It is a slum and it’s reality hits you. Drug & alcohol abuse is rampant. Prostitution is a popular profession. Yes, one of us was approached…😳😊 And the school provides a beacon of hope. Parents have passed due to HIV & other diseases. Grandparents are left to care for children & they do their best. Some children have no one to care for them & the combination of Squatters Hill school & Roberts Boarding School provide a home. Ms Florence & staff know the community – they make certain the children have food, education, & community. It is truly amazing. We were fortunate enough to be part of their lives and it is an amazing experience.
