Kruger National Park

We toured KNP for 10 days. 6 rest camps, guided animal drives, self guided adventures. Nasty spider bite – Greg – scary! Trumpeting& charging matriarch elephant- sneaked up on flank!😳, fighting elephants-seriously head butting, clanking tusks, knocked down a small tree, giraffe experiencing temporary madness-think it was bit/ kicking both back legs & running wildly in circles, lioness kill – munching on a downed wildebeest, tiny green thumb sized chameleon,4 inch owlets, rare white lioness(only 2 in knp), male lion- majestic mane & wandering in savannah. And our favorites: hippos, elephants, water buffaloes, hyenas, wild dogs, zebras, impalas, kudos, water buck, wildebeest, lions, leopards and birds!

It was amazing and the tranquility of the park an amazing treat. KNP is the size of Israel. We read that if you drive every single road in Park & look both ways 100meters each way – you will see 2% of the park.

…did I mention the 5 meter long crocodile or the 2 honey badgers in our camp that tried to steal our food? Jeff intimidated them with a chair – they stood ground and hissed back!
