Cascais is an idyllic town about 20 Miles from Lisbon. It is on the train line and a fun Lisbon suburb. It is one the West Point of Europe and the ocean, views and air is beautiful.
We spent 3 days here just having fun. Walking along the shoreline and enjoying the pounding surf and beautiful sunsets – the latest in Europe.
The boats in the harbor are right downtown- perfect.
We rented bikes & enjoyed an Oceanside bike path to the western most point of Europe.
We enjoyed a fun little hotdog food truck and loved a Porto/dog!
We had amazing dinners in the tiniest family restaurants enjoying fresh catches of the day.
A beautiful – low key city that is a wonderful combination with Lisbon & Sintra.
