Aveiro Portugal is a charming town between Lisbon & Porto. We loved this quaint stop. Canals line the streets – Venice style- and the gondola ride was fun. The canals are drained every night into the ocean – crazy. We enjoyed a few fun free city concerts. One was a few college kids playing jazz. And the second is the video of the rock band playing in the square – band is fun – people watching locals – priceless.
We love being a bit disconnected – and we’re surprised to realize that we were in a hurricane path – thank goodness the major damage was south of us and we were staying in a guest house built like s brick wall. Fun Portugueseexperience.
