The pilgrim sculpture is between Pamplona & Puente La Reina. At the top of a good ascent – it is a windswept peak with 360 views for Miles. It is memorable. It tells the story of pilgrims – while representing all – details the story of long ago. Pilgrims would take a year for their pilgrimage. Many as penance as dictated by their parish priest. Mostly men as the pilgrims would sleep on straw beds often accommodating 25+pilgrims.
